“ Three (3) birds in a row.” This happened during the last leg of Green Film Festival at SM Valenzuela in collaboration with SM Cares, CHED and Dep Ed with the participation of Valenzuela LGU.  Video clips on the top three priority programs (solid waste management, air and water quality management) of Sec. Roy Cimatu were conveyed to 300 students and 30 teachers of six different schools in Valenzuela City.

Before the film showing a short background on the celebration of Lead Poisoning Prevention Month which is a call to bring together individuals, organizations, industry, and state, tribal, and local governments to increase lead poisoning prevention awareness in an effort to reduce childhood exposure to lead.  (nlppw 2018)

After the show, the 2019 Search for Sustainable and Eco-friendly School was promoted. The objective of the search was discussed with the teachers from the six schools. Atleast three of the five schools present mentioned that they have already heard the search and have started doing some of its features like Gulayan sa Paaralan, waste segregation as well as beautification program of the school.

Q& A portion of the celebration was not only intended to gauge the level of comprehension of the students on the different programs on the protection of the environment but also as means to instill into their hearts, mind and convert into a concrete action whatever learning they gained from the show. As a gesture of appreciation to the active participation of the students and teachers, trivial gifts like planner, tumbler from Manila Water and IEC materials were handed to the winners .

Participating Schools were; Valenzuela Math and Science High School; Karuhatan National High School; Paso de Blas National High School; Dalandanan National High School; Valenzuela National High School and Gen. T. De Leon National High School.
