After three (3) years of continuous IEC in Agustin Creek, the toil of the Office in collaboration with other government agencies has come to reaping its fruits with the decrease of sacks collected during the Clean Up Drive conducted on 22 September 2018.

In 2015 when EMB-NCR first conducted clean up drive in the area around 300 sacks of solids wastes were collected which include damaged furniture and appliances like television sets, refrigerators and gas stoves.

This time, the personnel of  MMDA and EPWMD, Quezon City declared only 50 sacks of solid wastes collected in the creek which are mostly soiled clothing and twigs.

Another factor that contributed to the decreased volume of solid wastes collected was the construction of an elevated rip rap along the creek. The riprap prevents residents from throwing easily their wastes into the body of water.
