MANILA, Philippines – Environmental Management Bureau – National Capital Region conducted water quality monitoring and collected water samples from Manila Bay and other connected outfall on Tuesday and Wednesday (May 26 and 27) amidst Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine period.
Engr. Jean C. Borromeo, OIC of Environmental Monitoring and Enforcement Division conducted  safety induction to the officers assigned to the water sampling before going to their stations.
Among the parameters to be tested is fecal coliform as the DENR were looking to reduce the coliform levels at the Manila Bay as part of the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program.
Test results will be released after 5 days.
