Secretary Cimatu was joined by Sen. Establishments near the STP especially Manila Yacht Club and US Embassy shall connect to the plant for treatment of their wastewater. The STP will further help in bringing the water quality of Manila Bay into Class SB, suitable for bathing and recreation.
Other dignitaries present in the Switching Ceremony were DENR-NCR Regional Executive Director Jacqueline Caancan , EMB-NCR Regional Director Atty. Domingo Clemente, Jr., USEC Benny Antiporda, USEC Rodolfo Garcia and USEC Juan Miguel Cuna. Also sighted in the area were officials of Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) headed by Adelina Borja.
