Quezon City, Philippines – The Environmental Management Bureau – National Capital Region through the collaboration of Environmental Education and Information Unit and Solid Waste Management Section, conducted a two-day writeshop on the Preparation of National Ecosavers Program Adoptive Replication Guidelines and Finalization of Proposed Memorandum of Agreement, last October 17 and 18, 2019 at the 3rd Flr. Conference Room, EMB-NCR Building, National Ecology Center Compound, East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.

Participants of the said event are from the 10 selected schools in NCR ( Rosa L. Susano Novaliches Elementary School,  Bacood Elementary School, Sun Valley Elementary School, Pinalabanan Elementary School, Jesus Dela Pena Elementary School, Bagong Silang Elementary School,  Lingunan National High School, Malabon National High School, Muntinlupa National High School, and Mandaluyong Highway High School) together with their respective LGU’s (Quezon City, Manila, Caloocan, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Paranaque, Valenzuela, Muntinlupa, San Juan and Marikina).

The National Ecosavers Program aims to develop, implement and install the sustainability mechanisms, and a strategic approach to Ecological Solid Waste Management in selected public elementary schools and high schools in Metro Manila.
