MANDALUYONG, Philippines – Environmental Management Bureau – National Capital Region through its Youth Desk Office and Solid Waste Management Section, threw the last batch of produced handmade Bokashi balls in different portions of Maytunas Creek, Mandaluyong City last Friday, October 28, 2022.

The selected 25 youth received their gift check (GC) worth 500.00 pesos each, as an exchanged of their service in every production of Bokashi “Mabuhay” Balls livelihood program.

The program aims to strengthen the participation of youth in Environmental Rehabilitation, Protection and Conservation of our environment for following generations. It is also in support of gender-mainstreaming strategy and promoting gender equality of the office, and continuous support of the ongoing Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program.

Prior to the activity, EMB-NCR also donated cleaning materials to Brgy, Additional Hills as a token of gratitude for their support to the program.
