PASIG CITY, Metro Manila – Environmental Management Bureau – National Capital Region through Environmental Monitoring and Enforcement Division – Solid Waste Management Section conducted an ocular inspection of the Plastic Chair Equipment Operation of Pasig LGU on Thursday, May 17, 2022, at Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) Cluster 1, Composting Facilities, Brgy. Bagong Ilog, Pasig City.

During the activity, Mr. Bonifacio Florece of Pasig City Solid Waste Management Office (SWMO) showed the process of producing a plastic chair made from shredded plastic wastes collected from households by the Barangay MRF.

Regional Director Atty. Michael Drake P. Matias, EMED OIC Chief Engr. Jean C. Borromeo and SWMS OIC Chief Ms. Shealy M. Reginio led the inspection.

The Plastic Chair Equipment and Biocomposter were donated to Pasig City LGU by EMB Central through the Solidwaste Management Division office last 2021.
