Parañaque City, Philippines – The Environmental Management Bureau – National Capital Region led by Regional Director Atty Michael Drake P. Matias with Mr. Don Juan Arrishtottle D. Cariño, Chief of Water and Air Quality Section, conducted an ocular inspection at Parañaque Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) also known as Water Reclamation Facility on Tuesday, January 17, 2022, at San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

The facility can treat up to 76,000 cubic meters of wastewater per day and currently treats domestic wastewater from San Antonio, San Dionisio, and San Isidro in Parañaque City.

The Maynilad Water Services, Inc. program aims to expedite the provision of sewerage and sanitation services in Metro Manila and help reduce harmful pollutants being discharged to rivers and creeks and, eventually, to Manila Bay.

The objective of the inspection is to update Maynilad’s plan with service coverage targets and address the recent problems and concerns.
