QUEZON CITY, Philippines – The Environmental Management Bureau – National Capital Region (EMB-NCR), through its Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS), spearheaded the kick-off ceremony of the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) last November 25, 2022, at the EMB-NCR premises.

A Zumba activity was conducted as part of the kick-off ceremony, followed by a short message delivered by Engr. Florence V. Velasquez, Chief of the Finance and Admin Division (FAD). The EMB-NCR Personnel also wore orange shirts as a symbol to stand up for a VAW-Free Philippines.

The activity was conducted in continuous support of the Gender and Development thrust of the Bureau and compliance with the Occupational, Safety, and Health requirement.
