SAN MATEO, RIZAL – Environmental Management Bureau – National Capital Region through the Human Resource Management & Development Unit conducted an Onboarding Seminar for Newly Appointed and Hired Employees on March 16 and 17, 2022, at San Mateo, Rizal.

Speakers from the said seminar were Finance and Admin Division Chief, Engr. Florence V. Velasquez, who conveyed the welcome message and discussed the Civil Service Commission and Department of Environment and Natural Resources core values, followed by the Head of Administrative Section, Ms. Gemma G. Cariño who lectured the Norms of Conduct and Ethical Standard in the workplace, Human Resource and Development Management Unit, OIC Ms. Honelyn R. Daza discussed the Human Resource Paperwork and Checklist, on the latter part of Day 1, HSE/Project Management Specialist, Engr. Roger Abellon explained the Safety and Security Protocols, and Head of Budget Unit Mr. Cesar D. Tolentino Jr. tackled the Compensation and Benefits of government employees.

On the second day of lecture, Ms. Lady Christine A. David, Admin Assistant II, discussed the Attendance and Leave Benefits, followed by the Admin Officer III Ms. Joy E. Tolentino, who talked about Learning and Development, and Ms. Honelyn R. Daza discussed the Payroll Requirements.

The two-day program complies with the Civil Service requirement to conduct an onboarding orientation for newly hired and appointed employees to familiarize with the responsibilities attached to their respective positions.

The attendance, pre-test, post-test, and feedback form are all part of the completion of the training.
